According to the refund policy my hair should have been fixed before I left. I told the technician numerous times and tried correcting her through the process. I then sent messages to the owner who didn't even tell me she wasn't the person that was going to do my hair. I recieved terrible service from Tima African Hair Braiding. I sent a pinterest picture, told her I wanted Senegalese twist, and told the lady she sent countless times brown on the bottom and black on the top. Yall I look like a clown! Let's start with the fact I brought my own hair that's already the way I want it. I get there the lady cuts the hair and starts mixing it! So that pack of hair could not be used. Then after explaining it over again, she puts these plaits in my head with large spacing. NOT Senegalese twist. Then she puts the small twist only at the top center of my head. It looks like somebody grandma did my hair! I'm completely embarrassed! She says she'll take the hair down and refund me. I told her I'll come pick up the refund with the hair taken out to show i dont have it anymore. She decides to change her mind and not do the refund. Not only does this business have poor services but it also lies and make fake agreements with the customers. Don't use them! There are so many reputable businesses that actually honor what they say/do, provide exceptional services, and don't lie to their customers. Today I received a threatening phone call from this business.

Went in for jumbo cornrows. She was nice at first until I saw another braider in there working that I use to use. The hair was too tight and had to take it out within three days. I don't understand the logic to ways they run their business and how mean they can be. I was taken back at the questions the braider was asking me in front of people who didn't even know me. They weren't nice at all and won't ever go back nor will I ever go back to an African braider. I seriously have had enough of them. Not a good place to go. Way too small and bad attitudes. You got to watch how you are treating someone knowing your customers can write reviews on you and your business. They will even bad mouth you to other African braiders. Cristina needs to very careful with her mouth. It will cause the owner to loose business.

Very neat braids!!! Honestly the best hair braiding salon in town. They always do your hair as you request it. I highly recommend this place!

2 stars because my hair looked beautiful. But it was done way too tight, so tight that I got bumps filled with pus around my edges and after contacting the salon about my hair being painful and tighter than I've ever had it done (been getting my hair braided for 15+years) they recommended olive oil which I tried for over a week & only cause more bumps. They should've just told me to take them out. Waste of $200. I will never come back, I lost hair, received more breakage around my edges, and I just wish I never got my hair done here at this salon.
