  Lovely cozy cafe! The brunch was delicious and ambience was perfect for a weekend day out on a cold day! Our waiter was exceptional in asking for our needs. The only downside was the long wait due to the popularity of this place!

  I have loved this place for some time now but most recently on a date I wanted to impress, things didn't go so well. Because my lady has an unusual allergy I called in advance to ask if accommodations could be made and I was told things could be made. So I made a reservation and we went. Things started a bit rough when we ordered an appetizer but I believe it was an honest mistake that was quickly remedied. The kitchen was on point and everything tasted fantastic and the lamb was cooked to perfection. My only issue was my server, it seemed she didn't want me there. The last straw was when she decided her shift dinner was more important than us. Turned her back to us when I was ready to pay. I still left a 20% tip out of respect of how the kitchen crew worked to make everything so awesome. I will be back, just a little more cautious.

  Today I finally went to this restaurant, and it was fantastic! I've been wanting to go for a long time, but I tend not to plan, and here there's almost always a wait. Every time I passed by, the restaurant was full or almost full. I expected it to be really good, and it was even better than that! This is one of the best restaurants I've been to, and is hands down the best restaurant I've been in Seattle. First things first, the service was excellent. Everyone was nice, and the server was particularly nice and had great flow, one of those people you remember as being really good at their craft. The way she talked and listened showed mastery. And the food was fantastic. In general, the dishes were very balanced in flavor. It was clear the chef knew what he or she was doing. I got the fresh pasta appetizer, then a halibut special. In the end, an espresso dessert drink. I reserved through OpenTable. I got there on time and the table was ready for us. Again, they got all the little details right. Instant favorite!

  Me and my associate stopped into this place for brunch on our way out of Seattle, and boy were we glad this was our last stop! The food & service was phenomenal! There was a 1.5 hour wait, but it's super close to the space needle so we explored and the restaurant was kind enough to watch our bags. I had the TC breakfast plate and I got the bread with cheddar and a side of compote, wow was it good! Perfect ending to a perfect time in beautiful Seattle.

  I tried my very first Dutch baby pancake here. I was skeptical because I'd never even heard of that kind of food. This is essentially brunch taken to the next level. A Dutch baby pancake will take 25-30 minutes to prepare so keep that in mind if you're crunched for time. I will say that it was absolutely worth the wait. I ordered the sweet version and can't wait to try the savory one -- it has lamb, one of my favorite meats. Strongly recommend. Do take the time to make a reservation if you can. Whether you can walk in and be seated is hit or miss and I've been turned away before.
