Always a nice place to go if you want to get out the house for a drink. The staff are always so friendly and the food is very good.

The hamburgers are excellent. When you order well done, you get it. Lettuce and tomatoes are fresh. Fries are very good. Server is awesome. Lunch special tops it all.

This bar is in the Hampton Inn near the riverfront in downtown St Louis. We stopped in for happy hour after a visit to the blues museum a couple blocks away. We had an assortment of appetizers and a couple beers. Can't say I was terribly impressed but, like I said, it's a hotel bar and I've had far worse. The food was decent and the service was good, but I'm sure there are better places nearby.

Last night a friend took me to Tigin for my birthday. He recommended the shepherd's pie, saying it was delicious the last time he ate there. I was so disappointed! There were no vegetables and absolutely no seasoning, either. The potatoes on top were also tasteless. I told the waiter, but my friend said not to make a big deal of it. I thought at least they might comp us one meal (we both had the same thing) or maybe a beer, but we paid full price plus a nice tip. Maybe it was a new cook, or the cook was having a bad night, but I will not stop there again when I'm visiting St. Louis next.

This place had an amazing Irish feel to the air. A little Americanized but far closer to an authentic Irish pub feel than most I have encountered in the United States. Has a full bar, and the menu options are fairly authentic Irish fair, but it does have a kids menu that's more American friendly for the kids who may not be as enthused for Irish styling of food than their parents. Staff was very friendly as well, plenty of setting also. It's not far from the arch either.
