::The vehicle was good and the staff was friendly, the only negative to the Thrifty experience was the unwillingness of Thrifty Corporate to honor their price guarantee... In the end I had to rent through a 3rd party to get the best price and Thrifty refused to honor their 10% discount on the lowest rate available elsewhere. So make sure you shop around and don't believe the sales pitch.

::If I could give it ZERO stars I would. I made a reservation 5 days in advance for a Saturday pick up for a 3 day rental through a third-party reputable vendor. I get up to the Thrifty counter and they do not have a reservation. I call the company I made the reservation with and they call thrifty and fix the problem (Thrifty deleted the reservation somehow). I go back up to the counter and the agent (who said he was a manager) YELLED at me "DID YOU HEAR ME TELL YOU I"M LOW ON CARS!" Like the fact his company messed up is my fault. I said right back, what would you like me to do, your company says you have a car, I've made the reservation, I need the car. He continues to yell at me while doing my paperwork and I finally told him "I do not know why you're yelling at me, none of this was my fault. I made a reservation that disappeared, it's your companies fault, yell at them. At the end he apologized for being 'curt' I responded with "whatever, I need the car I have a conference in Houston this weekend " and just walked out. This was my first time ever using Thrifty and I will never ever use them again. I recommend going ANYWHERE else for your car rental needs.
