  It's a very old property, rundown and outdated, and it feels as such. The outlets in the room are accessible only from one side of the bed, there are draining problems in the restroom, the carpets are stinking and the noise from the rain poring on the outside of the AC wouldn't let us sleep. Also breakfast is very poor and served in the small lobby that can't fit all the people that are staying in the hotel. For that price you can get a much better value in any of the nearest newer hotels.

  What a charming hotel! We truly enjoyed our stay at The Willows Hotel. We ate at Drew's on Halsteds and went to The Blue Man Show, which was all within walking distance to the hotel. The staff was great! Very helpful and accommodating. Our suite was well furnished with a fridge, two TVs, two sitting chairs and king a size bed. Hot water was not an issue as was with some of the other reviews. I've included some pics of the room from when we were getting ready to leave. The continental breakfast was the only negative of the stay due to lack of home style hot options.

  Staff was helpful and friendly. Great customer service. No issues to report. Hotel is being renovated but it was very clean.

  We looked forward to a boutique style hotel but unfortunately our experience was less that satisfactory. Our reservation was misbooked and we were put into a very small single queen room that didn't have a working toilet and the shower head didn't work correctly. On the bright side the staff were helpful in changing us rooms and giving us a $30 credit. When we got to our new room (double queen), everything seemed to work well. Unfortunately, the bathroom has no ventilation and after two showers our entire room was damp and the window vent in the bathroom was broken. Overall it was not worth the $159 we paid to stay. At least the staff was nice.

  Older hotel but nice and clean. Comfortable & firm mattress. Good pillow. Room very spacious. I like circulating air when I sleep and it does have steam heat but there was a ceiling fan so it wasn't an issue. The gentleman on the night I checked in and the woman working in the morning were both polite. Within walking distance of a lot of decent restaurants. Good breakfast. Self-park in & out parking only $25 though I found street parking for free. Less than 10 minute drive to DePaul. I would stay here again.
