  Decent hotel, with old-school charm. Staff are friendly and helpful. but the hotel felt quiet (we were there over the third weekend in May). The bedrooms are on the smaller side, and the hotel isn't in the newest condition, but is more than satisfactory for a short stay in Houston. Cars are valet only, so be prepared to tip each time you need to access your car. The hotel lifts also take longer to arrive than you'd expect.

  This boutique hotel is one we will continue to stay at. The lobby is beautiful and spacious. There are two very nice restaurants that both serve excellent food and drinks. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are so nice and comfortable. Pool area is great as well!

  This is a recently renovated Hotel. Every amenity expected for the price level was available. When contacted the staff was very professional and responsive to all requests. The hotel is easily accessible from the freeway and throughout Midtown and downtown. The air conditioner in the room got as cold as I wanted it to be. The television used AT&T U-verse which was a nice surprise. On-site restaurants, there are plenty of delivery options that will drop off food to your room.

  My friend and I stayed here for three nights on a girls trip. I was impressed with the hotel. Probably the best part was the staff. They were extremely friendly and always willing to help. They did a good job of making you feel welcome. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The rooms were standard rooms; nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. We actually really enjoyed spending time at the bar out front. It had live music every night we were there, and it was good music! The happy hour specials were good. I would definitely recommend grabbing a drink there! My only complaints would be that the elevator took a long time during peak hours and that there was no fan in the bathroom. But overall, it was a good place to stay, and I would stay there again.

  One of the most historic and iconic hotels in Houston. Love what they have done here in terms of transforming it into a chic, modern, oasis in the heart of downtown. Definitely can tell that you are in a 4 Diamond Preferred Hotel. The staff is extremely attentive and is always willing to help. Edgar's the restaurant has great food and the outdoor patio Part & Parcel has great live music in the evenings and Happy Hour pricing. Try their signature Edgar's Truth Whiskey (Only place in town to get it)
