  I rarely write negative reviews; however, we were disappointed with this hotel. The TV was not not working for the majority of the day during our stay and the A/C was broken for the day and night. They offered to move us to a new room because the A/C was not working, but we declined due to the hassel of packing and unpacking. We were told the TV was a service provider issue and the A/C was fixed after we brought it to their attention; however, the issue with the TV was a faulty connection and the A/C was never fixed. We placed the Eco friendly door hanger on our door, but the room was never made nor were the shampoos replaced. We thought ithe evo friendly bonus was only for the sheets and towels to not be washed. Due to the broken A/C and TV we were offered and accepted a free breakfast for one night and this is the only reason I am giving this hotel a 3 star rating compared to a 1 or 2 star. I recommend that if you are choosing a hotel in the area that you consider others as the parking, breakfast, and most extras are extra costs. Other members of my business trip experienced similar issues during their stay. I was excited to stay at a Westin because of their reputation, but I think I may avoid them due this experience.

  I've never stayed there as a guest, but have visited many people who have and the rooms are very nice and spacious. I recently visited the Westin Tysons Corner for a career hiring event. The facilities were excellent and the room was setup well for the employers conducting interviews and discussions. There was a second room for interviews where it was much quieter and setup nicely. It was also the room used for the networking happy hour. The food and beverages provided were a very nice touch. The choices of food selected made the event very nice for those employers and the people attending looking for new positions. The staff I ran into throughout the event were nice, friendly and very helpful. This is a nice place to stay and location is fantastic!!

  We tried the hotel's Persian/Mediterranean weekend buffet and loved it. My wife is a big chicken kebab fan, and I usually have ground-beef kebab, they were both well prepared and tasty. The herb beef stew was out of this world. Our compliment to the chief. We'll definitely go back again

  The hotel is nice, but the rooms are a bit older. They offer a shuttle service to Tyson's corner mall, which I didn't use and I regret driving to that mall because parking was crazy. There's plenty to do in the area and the have some room for parking, although I didn't notice any attached garage.

  Given that I travel every week, finding a hotel that has excellent service and warm people is paramount. The Westin Tyson’s Corner has more than its share of stand out people. The front desk staff greets me by name and with a smile. The breakfast team is exceptional. They know my order and they always wish me a good day. My favorite personality of all is Maral at the Blue Fire lounge. She is fantastic. She knows what I drink and keeps the glass full. Best service at a hotel bar anywhere. I highly recommend.
