  Awful experience. The waiter was very inattentive from the beginning. And we were the 2nd table in the house so it’s not like he was swarmed with customers. There were 3 other severs there as well. I ordered a medium rare ribeye and it was served well done. Usually I wouldn’t complain, but if you’re paying $50 for a steak you expect it to be great. And then after paying a total of $240, the waiter cashed us out and just dropped the bill on the table and said “thanks” and hurried off and walked away. When I say dropped, I literally mean dropped on the table. I’m not saying you have to sit there and treat a customer like royalty, but if you’re eating at a very fine restaurant spending $240 on steak dinners and bottles of wine, you would expect some kind service. If this was at a low end establishment, I would not make a review this bad because I’m not expecting top quality service. This place however, you expect great service for the price. It was suppose to be a celebratory dinner, but ended up being very disappointing.

  We attended our dear friends' wedding reception there. The venue room it was held in was absolutely gorgeous! The waitstaff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this venue.

  We had our wedding reception here. Michelle walked us thru every step. Super easy! Food was EXCEPTIONALLY good! Our guests still tell us 4 months later. Really had a nice experience working with Giovanni's.
