  A bit out of the way but worth it. Not too pricey to get it and it you are a Disney fan, you will adore this place. Really pains a cool picture of Walt’s life and how he created his empire. I would recommend heading here before or after seeing the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s close enough to add on to your day.

  Definitely worth your money. You get to see a lot here. There are also some interactive things you can play with. Loved to go here with my hostel friends and was really interesting to see the development of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and the whole Walt Disney empire.

  I had no idea this museum even existed until a few months ago. Went there with my daughters youth group and a chaperone and it was great. I had recently been reading about Walt Disney's brother Roy Disney and how he was the mastermind behind the financial parts of the business. Very beautiful museum, lots of information about the history of Disney. It's amazing how far animation has come.

  Loved it. It seems small from the outside but my husband and I spent 4 hours there! Great place to visit with your partner. One small thing that annoyed me. You can take pictures as long as flash is off everywhere except downstairs apparently. No sign is posted and I got yelled at to not take pictures downstairs. Instead of explain why some other very nice young lady explained why the photo policy was different down stairs and it was a simple mistake. The older woman could have just said so instead of running up behind me, yelling and making me feel like I was running off with one of the darn pictures. She was so loud and condensing it made me really embarrassed. Especially because I always make it a point to ask if pictures are okay.

  We love this museum! Very beautiful site, and an incredible tribute to the man (not the company). A word to parents: although every child is different, this is not a children's museum. There are things kids can enjoy and do (especially the art center downstairs), but this is more of a walk through biography of Walt Disney, who was born in 1901. Many small children may find themselves bored, as there are few interactive elements, although, again- every kid is different. There are lots of amazing images, models, etc to look at, but not too much as far as interactiveness. But it is so stunning and educational inside! I recommend this place to any Disney fan, history buff, art nerd, movie snob and theme park lover. This place is great!
