I've had a mail box here for several years now. The staff know me by sight and get my packages promptly once it is my turn. The store is busy and it sometimes takes a while to get served, but that isn't because the employees are working slow - it is because there are a lot of customers. The only thing I don't like is the parking at the Metropolis, which is beyond horrid. Often, there is no parking and the machines often don't work correctly and, as a result, I've had to pay $20 a few different times just to leave. Way, way too often somebody is stuck in front of me because of one issue or another and that adds time on my ticket. But the UPS Store validates parking for one hour, so that isn't usually an issue.

Claims to be a notary but refused to do any notary work because they don’t know how to do it. Gave me an attitude and refused to help. Also their only computer is busted.

Racist, sexist, and the worst customer service to ever occur BOTH times I've been. I was told to "drop my attitude" and when I asked for his first and last name of the worker he responded with "John that's all you need to know." They also charge you ridiculous fees for unnecessary things such as "labor." Do not go unless it's your last possible option. It will actually ruin your week.

My experience at this store today was unacceptable. I wanted to print a mailing label (which, quoted on this website is .09) and had to wait around 10 minutes. Finally, I was told the charge was $2, and an older employee came out to me and disrespectfully asked "Are you the one that doesn't want to pay?" When I said I wanted to pay for the printed sheet of paper he told me that I was paying for his time and how important his time was (again, disrespectfully and condescendingly). In fact, I had tried online printing before and the same manager told me that it takes 24 hours for them to print things from online so it is better to do this in the store. Edit: it was an employee not the manager. I talked to a regional manager and he was extremely understanding. I hope that if this behavior continues other customers will also bring up complaints.

You should avoid this store and go somewhere else. They are dishonest and will not compensate you if they damage your package. I have never written a negative review about anyone in my life; I generally try to be an understanding person. But this experience was so bad, I feel I should share. We shipped a computer (paid UPS Store to pack and insure it), and received it damaged. The store owner verbally accepted responsibility, and agreed to send necessary paperwork to UPS Corporate to process the insurance claim. He never sent the paperwork, kept claiming it must have gotten lost, etc, etc. This owner is highly adept at the run-around! I eventually escalated to UPS Store corporate offices who continued to avoid processing our claim, even though they admitted on the phone and in emails that they were at fault. I spoke with three successive people who would sympathize with my experience, say they would get things moving, and then do nothing and avoid further phone calls from me. Very frustrating! We finally got resolution by personally tracking down a VP of the company and emailing the history to him. He was very dismayed by our experience and sent us a check. The whole process took seven months, and about 20 phone calls. I should add that the check we received took days to clear our bank, which has never happened to us on other checks we received. Perhaps UPS Store is running low on cash, and that is why they avoid paying out any insurance claims, even when legitimate.
