So I'm a sucker for historical areas and buildings, and this is one of them. The Tower Theatre really is a Sacramento landmark. That's pretty much the main reason I gave this place so many stars. The seats are very old, so as far as comfort goes, it isn't great. My back hurt so much by the time the movie ended. I imagine it would be really bad for someone with back problems. I do like that they show movies that aren't showing in other theatres, so if you're looking for something that isn't so mainstream, this is a good place to check out.

Recently saw Isle of Dogs here with my girlfriend. Exquisite in its own aesthetic type of venue, very kind employees. My preferred local theatre.

Haha this place... What an experience! It's roots are from 1927 and you can smell it! Some minor upgrades here and there but well preserved feeling of vintage, mmmmm. An interesting selection of movies, usually the outcast ones, which are mostly well done and unique to watch. They have alcoholic beverages and some snacks. The service has been exactly as service should be. Thanks Tower folk!

It's a nice one school theater with good prices. The audio quality could be better of course. It's really unique with some of the film's it shows and special events they have. It's cool sometimes they will reshow movie from the year before like get out. An overall quality place to catch a movie.

Nostalgia to the fullest. If you are a fan of old theater aesthetics, then this is the place for you. The sound is clear with perfect views to the screen. One of my favorite places to go watch a movie 🎥. Attached to the theatre is Tower Cafe, the food is great. Best place to catch a bite to eat either before or after the show.
