  From reading the reviews one would think this hotel accommodating and the those individuals running the front desk, valeting, and house keeping were. However, the restaurant wait staff and bar tenders were rude, lazy, and in general had bad attitudes. You will be charged for $10.00 for each item (pillow(s), blanket(s), etc.) even when your suite is not furnished with them for the sofa sleeper and murphy bed. The bar tenders will turn off the lights, mid conversation because they want to leave. They will close the bar early and complain when it is requested to be reopened. The restaurant wait staff will hesitate to sit you if you have children then push the buffet so they don't have to wait on you. The food on the buffet (Friday AM) was old/stale. For dinner the dress code is not published, but if you don't meet it, they will waste your time making you wait rather than politely informing you of the issue. For convenience it can't be beat, but if you have a choice on where to stay, don't stay here.

  I didn't eat there yet. Can't wait till I got here. Many rooms in the lobby first floor. Dining should be good. Overlooking Hudson river.i was a the Patton bar. You can order food too. soon to go for the Sunday brunch. They have 3 ,need to reserve. They a wonderful 🎹 player, she plays Americans stander.

  Steaks were really good but every side is an additional cost. Stingy on the bread and you have to ask for more since they only bring you one at a time. Service was great but the place was pretty much empty when we went. They offer a military discount which is great but they don't mention it. Seafood nights are really good and have a great variety.

  Wonderful being on the base at West Point. This historic hotel has great service and has a classic feel to it. The hotel is very drafty in the lobby and depending on the side of your room, your sleep could be disrupted by the train.. Make sure you keep your ID or passport on you at all times. The West Point museum is within walking distance and on site dining is very good. Highly recommended.

  The hotel was gorgeous. The rooms were very nice and the view was amazing. We were situated on the Mountain Side which is not as pretty as the river side, but the river side has a train which can be loud. Not bothersome at all though. If you go for the breakfast, I recommend the fox hole egg meal. It was crazy good
