  The hotel is literally perfect and right in the middle of everything. They have the best complimentary breakfast and a bunch of different types of free coffee. I definitely will come back here again.

  Everything about this location was quite pleasant, but I would be open to exploring other locations in the area for similar price points. I really enjoyed that upon entering in the lobby area that customer service was friendly, and as the name suggest, it really did smell like tangerines in there. Something that I do appreciate about this Motel, is that they have early check-in at 1 p.m.. the location is also very convenient if you happen to be visiting Warner Brothers Studio as it is literally just a five-minute walk away. Universal Studios is also a very short drive, which is why we chose this location. There are many restaurants in the area to choose from and we did feel safe in this location. Pool was definitely on the small side, and I can't imagine it having more than a handful of people in it at a time,but as was the case with everything else it was very clean and comfortable. Rooms were very clean, murals were really cool, but the rooms in my opinion were definitely more on the small side and pretty simple. I did think that the toiletries were nice though. Hubby complained that it was uncomfortable having our bed right next to the room's ac unit though . I really appreciate that there is a small vending machine on site with snacks available at reasonable prices, as well as complimentary beverages in the lobby. Breakfast was mixed feelings for me. I really loved and appreciated that they provided Porto's pastries which are extremely popular in this area for tourists and locals, but there honestly wasn't much to choose from as there was literally only one small party platter with a dozen or so on display at a time. As a family of four, I felt super awkward eating more than one, so we just took a few back to our room and had to have a real breakfast later elsewhere to fuel our day. Still quite generous of them, but I just wouldn't advertise this as breakfast.

  This place looks like a motel (and it basically is) but it was stylish and the location was perfect for getting to the WB studios tour. Breakfast was pastries from a local bakery which were dreamy. Coffee machine made very sweet coffees...

  Great experience staying here! My fiance and I stayed here recently and were blown away by the hospitality at The Tangerine. Walter, the manager, accommodated us perfectly and he was very pleasant. Everyone was nice, it was in great walking distance to many restaurants and The Warner Brothers Studio. When we did have to use the car everything was in close proximity still. The area felt safe to walk even at night. I have nothing bad to say about this place. I highly recommend it to anyone going to the area, and I can say when we go back out to LA we will be staying at The Tangerine.

  The Tangerine is a really adorable, cute motel. It was everything it needed to be- very clean, comfortable, and not crazy expensive. The rooms have really cool murals and they take the name "The Tangerine Hotel" seriously. There's a LOT of orange, it's very neat looking. The morning pastries were absolutely amazing, I ate way more than I should have! Those alone made staying there worth it 😂
