  Food was delicious!! The staff was wonderful! It was a really great time and, while a bit pricey, was worth every penny. I highly recommend drinking a ginger beer after your meal to ease the tummy. Will definitely go again. Have the ribeye!

  I used to live Davis for many years and went to this place roughly 2-3 times a year. Ever since l moved to SoCal, I visit S.F. at least once a year for a conference. My kids are now in college but come with me, and this is the place they want to go. It doesn't matter what to order since they are all good. Very friendly servers. Always pleasant experience.

  If you don't like garlic you have no business being here. It's a garlic restaurant. Fresh chopped garlic pesto on the table that alone will leave you smelly like garlic for a week. The garlic boat thing gives you a roasted garlic the spreads like butter and goes well on bread. The brie cheese was pretty good. Not a huge fan of their caeser dressing but it was still good. We had the pasta and gnocchi and it was great. It was our first visit. Service is good. Made reservations on open table and we're sat right away.

  We live in Sacramento and get to San Francisco about 4 times a year. We've seen this restaurant time and again, but have always been put off by the name. However on this Sunday we decided to give it a go. It was a great experience! The wait staff was very friendly and willing to chat with us. We ordered cocktails to start, and were impressed with the abundant pour. We ordered the baked mussles as an appetizer, split a salad, and shared the black linguine with clams. Although they speak of lots and lots of garlic, the food was very sensibly seasoned. Don't be frightened by the idea of lots of garlic because they don't overdo it. However if you LIKE garlic you will love this place! Also if you're looking for good Italian food you will love this place.

  The food was good but not great. The garlic theme was unique. Unfortunately the rolls were cold and our waiter seemed to want to rush us. The sauce and pasta were good but I have had better at establishments where the price point was a bit less. If you want to see the world's longest garlic braid or if you just love garlic, I would recommend giving this place a try.
