  The pool was this hotel's best asset, for being a luxury hotel our room was pretty standard, though nicely remodeled and a very comfortable bed. Loses one star for the bathroom not being very clean from the previous guest, and another for not really providing anything luxurious to live up to their name. Great place if prove that night is on par with other hotels in the area, but not worth a splurge of you you're expecting something top-of-the-line.

  From the valet to desk staff to servers to housekeeping, phenomenal staff. Operator was awesome and called to make sure I got what I requested. Well-trained and it's clear service is a priority. Room was amazing and supremely comfortable. My only complaint (nothing about hotel) is how much street noise there is.

  Fantastic, beautiful rooms with excellent service and a great view. The rooftop pool was refreshing and is directly across from the probably awesome fitness center (which I definitely used because I'm sooooo fit) making it easy to cool off after your workout. Soft, comfy beds lead into a modern bathroom with plenty of outlets and wonderful shower. The building itself is gorgeous inside as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in San Antonio.

  2 Stars - Just for the ambience and the interiors. This place has quite amazing interiors. 1 Star - For their hospitality! They go a step further to make the guests are comfy! 1 Star - Pool ** Wooohooo! The open top pool is amazing, especially if you can find a full moon night! Minus 1 - For the super expensive parking! 40$/day is expensive for no matter who!!! But at least, you can find other parking places around the hotel for cheaper prices. All in all, I recommend this for an amazing experience in the midst of the beautiful San Antonio.

  Beautifully restored hotel. The interiors have been restored beautifully to it's original elegance. Rooms are nicely appointed and the king rooms boast pretty large bathrooms. It's always difficult to balance tradition with modern updates, and this place does it quite well. Staff are uniformly friendly and are on you to help if you even look like you are mildly lost (as one can be when taking in the nice lobby).
