  The murals and paintings add an unique, localized feeling along with earlier Americana interior features of Smithtown's past. There are tables with chairs and rooms for study(reservations advisable). The staff are very helpful.

  Absolutely one of the best public libraries I have ever been to. The appearance is beautiful and it has a very welcoming , home- like feel to it. My kids love it! Their resources are also top notch and will go out of their way to find what you need. Huge thumbs up!!

  I have been coming here 30 years and still get that great feeling every time I go in just picked up two books because I refuse to use a Kindle. Love the feel of a great book! People here are always so helpful and so kind. Thanks! 🍀📚
