It's super dead right now but a great indoor space to wander. Even the food court is only half occupied. Tony's barber shop is stellar, rainbow clothing store is hip and cheap, and there's an artist community space in the basement called The Underground Collaborative that absolutely rocks. Visit before it gets all gentrified.

A dead mall. It was popular 30 years ago. Only has about 25% occupancy. Really no reason to shop here. Closes at 7pm on weekdays. Some local office workers eat lunch at the food court .

Totally a ghost town. We were killing time b4 going to the Riverside for a show so we went in. It was actually quite creepy. Beautiful building, well maintained yet EMPTY!! There were a few stores left and we went up to the Food Court on 3rd floor....just to look around on a Friday evening. There wasn't anything to see, a few peeps in the Food Court and quite a few more here and there doing basically NOTHING but sitting around. It was creepy, won't go back. Shameful to waste such a prime location w/a beautiful building that sits almost completely EMPTY!!

We eat on the third floor food court of Grand Ave every Saturday. There's a number of different restaurants up there, something for everyone. All the restaurants have really good prices.

The actual building is beautiful, lots of history in it. Like a lot of malls, it's struggling. But they are doing a good job of redefining themselves and coming up with creative spaces. The food courts has a nice variety. There is a produce stand as well. Great place to go walking in the cold winters. And there are also pathways that connect to other buildings and even over the river so you don't have to walk outside. Definitely a place to check out.
