THIS IS WHERE I BEGAN MY JOUNEY LAST YEAR IN APRIL, THERE WERE THERE FOR ME WHEN I WAS SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED. THIS PLACE SAVED MY LIFE. GOING TO THE ALUMNI MEETINGS ON MONDAY NIGHTS IS GREAT THAT IS ONE THING I LOOK FORWARD TO EVERY WEEK

I was a patient from Aug 28, 2016 to Sep 7, 2016. TRC allowed me to detox off opioids and alcohol in a medically safe manner. The meetings brought in showed me a better way of life; a sober way of life. The case managers also made sure that my plan after detox was right for me. I am forever grateful to TRC and the staff.

It's really sad to see all these one star reviews because I can tell by reading them they're lies. TRC is a detox facility not a treatment center. It is recommended that you go to treatment upon completion of TRC. They only keep you about 10-14 days. (Sometimes this varies) Getting sober is hard! This is not a place for people who aren't serious about recovering! I've been to The Recovery Center twice. I've also been to treatment 8x at fancy places out of state that celebrities have been to. I ended up getting sober at TRC, a state funded facility instead of those fancy places. I can't blame the fact I couldn't stay sober on anyone but myself. I wasn't ready to quit and I wasn't ready to surrender to the process! I am now a member of the alumni group. I have held positions in the group like secretary, treasurer, and president. The alumni was the first group I got involved in and started doing service work. TRC WILL WORK FOR ANYONE WHO'S WILLING TO PUT IN THE WORK IT TAKES TO STAY SOBER! If you or someone you know needs help, send them to TRC! They saved my life! My relationships with family are healed, I bought a house with my husband (who I met in recovery), we have full custody of our son, I went back to school and I'm one semester away from graduation.

The worst experience of my life. First off the food is not 5 star, maybe. 05 star. Nasty not even edible. They make you go to groups all day and when you're coming off opiates you don't want to get out of bed, dang sure not wanting to go to groups. If you don't go they'll kick you out. I wouldn't go to groups so I had to leave. I live in Tulsa and they kicked me out in the 30 degree weather where I had to wait for 4 hours for my ride to get me. This place is full off people who aren't even sick. Weirdest and worst experience of my life. If you read a positive review about this place then it's probably just the employees trying to make the place sound good. DO NOT ENTER TREATMENT AT TRC. IT'S A NIGHTMARE!! ยก

If Iโ€™m thinking of the right place this place is horrible. First off itโ€™s a treatment for both mental and detox. Like they belong in the same group. The place is run down and has nothing to offer but verbal abuse. I went here in 2012 and I didnโ€™t get clean until 2015 when I went to an actual treatment center. I say this because this place is a joke
