  Wait time was great, seated immediately. Service was great but food was over priced for quality of food. Portion size good but not your mama's cooking. Food looks and sounds great on menu. Only serve dark meats, white meat, wings only extra $3.00 charge for 3 wings. Not impressed.

  The food was good. It wasn't anything spectacular. I had the fried chicken and waffles and a side of Mac. The batter for the chicken was tasty and a little kick of spice. I really enjoyed the waffles. I ate them without syrup, they were that good to me. They were out of the cornbread, which was a little disappointing, because, how do you run out of cornbread and its a soul food restaurant? I went because it was my niece's bday. It was a little pricey to me. You get a small portion of Mac and cheese for $11, and the chicken and waffles plate was $25 it doesn't come as a side with a dish, it's separate if you choose that option. However, aside from the negatives, the server bought the food out promptly and was very pleasant! We were a party of 15, and although it is small establishment, they were able to accommodate us on short notice. The owner personally thanked us for our patronage! I would go again.

  Let me start by saying "I'll be back" in Terminator voice. The drink I had was delicious and a bit strong. It is cash only, and Thank God there is an up to date ATM right at the door. Yes, there is great food here, the waffles were delicious, the bbq wings were good. I did get a side of mac and cheese....very cheesy. Next time I will get the fried shrimp and waffles and then another visit for the pork chops and waffles, then maybe try Miami to explore the new place. The atmosphere is not the most classy at this Brooklyn location. A plus is the chef comes out and interacts.

  Popular spot in Brooklyn right now. The energy of this place is amazing. I went for Brunch and I was impressed. The food is incredible just a bit pricey. I don't believe what they make is so exclusive that it needs to be priced so highly. The service there is pretty good. They are definitely attentive and ensure that you are getting what you ordered and how you ordered it. Its a small spot but you'll love the vibe there. Its easily accessible via train and bus. It is a spot where a wheelchair can be easily accessed. I would recommend this place just make sure your pockets are full.

  My 1st experience was not a good one. I ordered chicken wings, string beans, mac & cheese and cornbread. And my drink was strawberry lemonade but, what was brought out to me were greens that I did not order, chicken wings that weren't fully cooked and that probably was because, the wings were too big, smaller wings would have been perfect, cornbread reminded me of eating a funnel cake/pancake and my drink tasted like a bag of sugar. The only food that was good was the mac & cheese and that should be included with the meal when selecting 2 sides not paying separately. I also had an issue, not being told, u can not pay with a credit card. Cash only. The waiter was no help with informing of that policy. 2018 credit card machine works better than an ATM machine by the door. I'm saddened to say I will not be returning..
