Excellent restaurant for bunch/lunch. Good menu with a very wide selection of breakfast meats. Outstanding service with a smile. Normal Washington prices. Parking can be a problem. Would be five stars except the restaurant is quite loud. Differently would have bunch there again.

Fantastic meal! First of all, the entire menu revolves around pork in some way or another. That said, all of the items are unique and highlight different parts of the animal. Our group had the shank, Moroccan ribs, scallops and pork below, and pasta carbonara and I think everyone was very pleased with what they had. The shank was definitely the highlight for me. Super tender and the meat fell off the bone. The risotto it comes with was fantastic, too. They serve a mean old fashioned, as well. Overall, we had a great time, the food was excellent, and service was top notch.

I love this place! They have incredible meals made from locally-sourced, sustainably-raised ingredients. I have a lot of food allergies and an extremely restrictive diet (Auto-immune Protocol Paleo) and the wait staff have been able to accommodate me for both breakfast and dinner. The waiters and cooks are friendly, caring, and cool. It's clear they take pride in their work. The atmosphere is great for groups or dining alone (full menu served at the bar). Reservations are recommended for tables at busy times. This might not be the place for vegetarians and vegans but anyone else should come by and indulge! I care that the meat I eat was treated well, so this is the place for me. Grilled veggies, fat bacon, pork loin; I'm in foodie heaven. Scrumptious food! Great drink selection! Open late! The poster on the bathroom wall says it best: happy pigs are tastier! Dang was it delicious!

There was about a half hour wait to get a table on a Wednesday. But that is understandable, given the service and quality of food. The service was top notch, for a good restaurant. The server, Dora, really made us feel like royalty. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and after we had eaten, without asking a question, she dropped off the desert menu. Man all the food was good. If you notice in the pictures, the provided knife is totally clean. That's because I totally did not need it for my braised venison. My wife had the pork shank, also scrumptious. If you are in the day area and looking for a top notch restaurant, look no further.

Came here as a reprieve from only eating at home due to the ever popular Whole 30 diet. They have a robust selection of meats, the bacon stands out, if you're in the mood for variety though, the meat board is the way to go. It isn't the most popular brunch, lunch, dinner spot in Logan Circle but isn't without it's own charm. A funky choice off their brunch menu is the eggs with veal brains. Although a catchy name, it's nothing but but a few scrambled eggs and indistinguishable pieces of meat for $16. A fine meat destination if that carnivore in you is calling.
