  The front desk very friendly and accommodating. I found this hotel excellent for the price. The place smell clean and fresh, clean linens. I really enjoyed my stay here. I love the old fashion ambiance. Beautiful Central Park in front of it.

  Oscuras las habitaciones y le falta un poco de mantenimiento en general. Igualmente es recomendable para pagar poco, descansar bien. La zona es hermosa y tranquila!

  DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL AND DO NOT USE A CREDIT CARD. THEY WILL TAKE AS MUCH MONEY AS THEY WANT TO. Charged me $81.30 2 days after I left the city. Claiming they didn’t do it and don’t know who did. Then I called back and they said it’s an “authorization” charge and happened 2 days after I checked out cause I checked in on a weekend. Even though they never once mentioned the authorization charge. They said it won’t be back in my account for 3 days. They refunded me the money the day after. Now one week later they take the $81.30 out of my account again! It seems shady because they changed their story 3 different times over the “authorization” charge and charged me a week later again. Also no one seems to know what to do.The people working there were actually very nice which is why I was so surprised that this happened.

  Sad that I can't give less than one star. This was, BY FAR, the worst hotel experience of my life. Humiliating. I don't know how this is a 3 star hotel... Our window DIDN'T FULLY CLOSE.. IN FEBRUARY. In top of that the heating didn't work at all the second night, we had to sleep in our winter coats and we were freezing, I told the guy in the front desk several times and he ignored me since he was not happy that we complained about the previous night having people smoking weed in the room beside us, and boy, the walls are thin. This is not worth saving some money with the whole "NY is to walk all day, I just need a place to sleep" YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO REST. This really messed up our anniversary trip. Is not worth saving the 10-20 or 50 dollars you might save, I wish I read the reviews before.. NOT WORTH IT.

  Stayed here 2-17-18 until 2-20-18. I had such a great stay. The staff are so friendly and professional. The hotel is cute and small, has everything needed for a good stay. Check in is at 3pm but we got there at 9am. The staff held our luggage free of charge while we explored the city. The rooms are small. Literally just a bed and bath. Clean room. I have no complains and would recommend for anyone going to the city to explore the city versus stay in hotel to lounge.
