  Beautiful little lounge of a bygone era with rich paneled wood, dim lighting, often live music, and an excellent waitstaff. A great place to step back in time and experience a lounge built when care went into construction. The fries are also pretty good with a nice pint of beer after a long day.

  I really enjoy the hotel but the bar did not live up to expectations tonight. I ordered a bourbon and sponge cake with huckleberry ganache and buttercream filling. I was told their normal ice is small chips but they have large cubes/rocks which I opted for. Turns out they charge an extra $1 for the large ice cube! I’ve NEVER been charged extra for ice, large cube or not. Not a classy move!! The dessert was underwhelming, didn’t taste fresh and not worth the money. Also the promised live jazz music was a no show.

  Richard is the best server! We went here for our 6 month wedding anniversary and he was so wonderful all night, we chose the Benson because it is supposed to be haunted and he told us wonderful stories and paid extra attention to us throughout the evening, such a lovely experience we will absolutely be back. The food was transcendent, I highly suggest pairing the fish and cheese plates! If you are looking for an interesting beautiful special occasion restaurant you cannot go wrong with the palm court! Thanks again Richard and John for making it so special and perfect!!

  Great food and service. Not fast food but a dining experience. For lunch I had chicken, asparagus with french fries. Back again and having a steak.

  Bobby was an amazing and friendly server. The food and coffee was top notch. Great way to start our day.
