Went to New York for a few days and decided to buy a one day pass! Seems as though there was a marathon that day and we were only able to use it for half of the route because they had the roads blocked off all day. Wouldn't have been bad only that the reason we bought the pass was to see the area that the pass wasn't allowed to go! Understand that there can be unforseen circumstances, but pretty sure the marathon was scheduled in advance and we were never told of anything until we got on the bus. Could have saved us alot of money because what we were able to see would have cost us half of what we paid for two passes.

Total waste of our money! Ripped off! We were there over this past Christmas week and made to wait in lines, in freezing conditions, for any attraction we were interested in. Where were the designated lines for pass holders to skip the queues??? Queued for over an hour and a half at Battery Point and still only made it half way to the ticket booth! Not the only people to walk away. Would not recommend this to anyone. Should have saved our money and paid on the day. Wish I could give zero stars and still post the review.

My family and I travelled to New York for the first time and we all purchased a 7 day pass. Very quickly we started to realize that the main attractions don't appreciate people using the New York pass for reasons unknown.. All major attractions ( Empire State Building, the ride, hop on hop off bus and 9/11 memorial) Sell express tickets to which you can skip the massive lines that don't seem to go away no matter what time it is. All in all we used our passes twice over the 7 days. My recommendation is to anyone who remotely respects their time and wishes to not join the endless ques is to boycott the New York pass and pay for the attractions separately.

My partner and I got the 3 day pass for our first trip to New York. It made it so easy for us to see everything we wanted to and even more than we originally planned as there is so many different things you can do! The book is so helpful with locations maps and times for each attraction. It has pretty much everything you could want to do in New York (we thought anyway) anything that wasn't covered we just saved for our final day without the pass. I would say personally it worked out great value for money we purchased when there was a promotion which was a win but I had already worked out pricing for what we would do anyway and it definitely made sense to buy this given all the extras we ended up doing.

The card came with a lot of useful information to help us work out where to go. The pocket guide book was also easy to carry. There is also an app which made planning beforehand really easy. We definitely got the benefit of the express entry which was also good. We probably overestimated how many places we could see in the 3 days so it might be good to have an average time spent at attractions to help with the planning for those of us from overseas. I am not sure we saved money on tickets but getting the express entry and the concise information made up for it. We would recommend getting a pass.
