  The Nest Birth Center and the staff are a God send. Our family was beyond blessed by the care we received from day one. Patty and Lisa have truly become family to us. We were first time parents, and brand new to the world of midwifery, but are SO pleased with our choice to go this route. I couldn’t imagine anyone better to be with us through labor and delivery than these midwives. We even commuted about 25 minutes and were glad we did. Thank you to The Nest for making us a part of your family and helping us welcome our beautiful boy into the world!!

  The Nest Birthing Center in Mansfield is Awesome! Everyone is knowledgeable and caring, they do everything possible to make the birthing experience comfortable, happy, and truly unforgettable.

  I’m so thankful to have Lisa as my midwife she is truly someone special she is very caring, concerned, understanding, thoughtful, selfless and the list goes on! it’s not often that you meet people like her these days so that was such a blessing I had a wonderful birth experience with Lisa she didn’t rush me she was with me during my labor she didn’t just come in when it was time to push she made sure I didn’t tear she educated me on how to deal with my contractions which is very important if you want a good birth and she educated me on birth and pregnancy to better prepare me for my journey I was never concerned or confused I didn’t feel like I was having another hospital experience with an OBGYN I never felt disrespected or unwanted Lisa showed me what birth is really about and she respects the mother and the family hands down and she makes sure we come first she wants what you want for your baby and ur experience thanks so much Lisa keep it up your doing great!!! your pure, wonderful, inviting, warm personality is going to take you a long way and is extremely needed for all pregnant women before, during and after our journeys

  Lisa Riell (midwife) and her staff were nothing short of phenomenal! She took the time to listen to all of our questions and concerns throughout the entire pregnancy, I never felt rushed on any visit, and she made the experience so special for my whole family. They are friendly, professional, and super helpful. I've never had better or more personal care from a healthcare team. I recommend her to anyone who is wanting to have a great natural birth experience!

  One of my sisters decided to have a natural childbirth several years ago, which made me curious to visit a birthing center while on my search for a hospital when I got pregnant. My husband and I decided on a birthing center, and had our 1st daughter in another city. Now with the second pregnancy, we are in the Ft worth area. I wanted a water birth this time, and when I met Lisa at The Nest, I knew I wanted to have our second daughter here with her help. I had a couple complications with my thyroid and mild anemia that threatened to make me deliver at a hospital, but with the prenatal care and dietary changes I was able to stay low risk. The day came on January 22nd, and Lisa, Ginger, Rachel, and Emily were assisting. They made my water birth vision a reality. I couldn’t be happier that I have a positive memory of my daughters birth and the loving care I received from the midwives, from the ability to make any sound I needed to, go for any position that felt right, and not be judged, but encouraged with their care. I’m so thankful 🙏. Visit this birthing center when you are deciding what place is best for you to deliver your child. ❤️
