::Wouldn't make a night or destination of it, but worthy of a drink or two when in the area. Full of old school feel and charm, a great hole in the wall (actually pretty big once inside) where you can belly up to the bar and get a reliable cocktail or beer. But note, this is fancy midtown, where cocktails are +$17 and beers +$10.

::Cool place with a casual chic atmosphere. Not too trendy, not too classic, just the perfect mix. Vichy tablecloths, red leather seats, copper and wood. Fun monkey illustrations on the wall. The room in the back is a bit fancier. Good cocktails, decent selection of wine. Live piano when we were there on a Saturday night. Service was not enthusiastic but good enough.
