  Have never had a bad experience here. Bartenders and wait staff are genuinely polite, restaurant & bathrooms are clean, good pub food (I was too hungry to snap a picture of the mac & cheese when it arrived). Our waitress, Megan, was a joy and even treated us to cinnamon toast crunch shots to celebrate my parents 34th wedding anniversary! We walked in with 7 people and no reservation, waited a few minutes and then grabbed a table. Karaoke on Fridays & Saturdays downstairs, live music most other days!

  I can't think of a single bad thing to say about this place. Great food, great service, clean bathrooms, and good jams overhead. We dropped in for some lunch on a weekend in NYC and were not disappointed. We got the shepherd's pie and bourbon chicken sandwich and both were delicious.

  Spent the weekend in NYC and had expected to drink a few cocktails and dance until late, but the lounge of our hotel (W) was closed, so we asked the doorman for a recommendation and he suggested The Mean Fiddler. We arrived around 11:30, on a Sunday night, and danced our asses off until about 3:45 am Monday morning. We had so much fun, we returned Monday night, around 10:00, and stayed until 4:00 am Tuesday morning. Sadly, until I went to write this review, I had no idea they served food - I can't pass up a good shepherd's pie... Anyway, if you want to cut loose and have a great time - I, most definitely, suggest you stop in - you may just shut it down, like we did, I can't wait to go back... even though my body needs to recover from all that dancing.

  Awesome fun Irish pub, great food and great times. Had a blast here. The beef sliders are awesome. The service is fun and friendly. The bands they have are awesome and play a lot of good music.

  What a great find for lunch today..bartender was extremely helpful and inviting at 10:55 am. Bowl of meatballs and shepherd's pie were a win...buffalo wings rocked...only thing we realized the lunch special included a beer...and we didn't order one..but for a little hidden spot it was outstanding. FOOD was hot, bartender so friendly and from Ireland. Definitely a winning spot to stop by.
