  Fondue experience but lacking some flexibility to the menu and dipping options. I was surprised at the cost - easily went well over a 100 bucks for 3 people with only one of us drinking alcohol.

  The real deal folks. The food, decor, and owners are very very swiss. If you have never had fondue, this place will be your gold standard.

  Service was fantastic. The food absolutely delicious. A very short menu focused on fondue... period... and it is fabulous. Parking is little tricky. Priced appropriately. Can't wait to go back. Definitely a place to take friends to dinner, as fondue is perfect for sharing and conversation.

  This place is the best. Service is spot on, food is not just excellent, but it is plentiful. Is a great place for a leisurely meal and good conversation. Can also be seen as a romantic restaurant.

  This is a unique place. Most importantly, the food is remarkable. Best fondue in the city. I can't get enough of the oh la la. Go for a cheese and an oil. Get the apples and kiwis and meats and pineapples and everything. Don't be afraid to experiment with the flavors. There is a true mountain getaway ambiance to the restaurant. You'd never know it from the small sign hanging the alcove of the commerical building on Van Ness, but the interior is clad in wood. The booths have intricate carvings. Sadly, the glory that is the Matterhorn will cease to exist sometime this year. The owners are hanging it up. Get in there when you can so you don't miss out on this San Francisco hidden gem.
