  I hit a low point in my life in July, and went to Magic Candle for some guidance. The reader (can't remember her name) spent about an hour with me but kept saying she "couldn't read" me. She kept pulling out new stacks of cards in hopes that she could find some connection. It ended up being less of a tarot reading and more like someone just listening to me talk about my problems and holding space for spirit. Kind of like when you ask a church pastor to pray with you. I wouldn't go back to get a reading but they have some cool incense and trinkets.

  The store looks nothing like it did in the pictures that show up when you search it for starters. There are very few actual candles, and most of the candles they do have look like they were collected from goodwill. There are herbs and whatnot behind the counter as if they used to make their own but that's obviously not a thing anymore. My friend and I got readings. Mine had absolutely nothing to do with me. Even when I said I had no idea what the reader was talking about, they continued as if I should. So I let them go but later my friend and I realized we were BOTH TOLD THE SAME STORIES.

  A great and small convenience store for those who love nature and praise in her blessings. Not a "witch" store, but a place that is new age friendly and friendly to those of any background.
