::In the past I'd gone and the experiences had been fine but lately the Lotus has gone way down hill. (Should have kept Tara on the payroll) Last night I went for dinner and a drink with my boyfriend. The service was pretty bad, we waited a long time for 1) server's initial appearance 2) our drinks 3) our food and 4) our bill. Worst of all, today I realized I had someone else's credit card. Another customer has my credit card, which I had to cancel thanks to The Lotus. And I have the credit card of someone else. Will absolutely not be going back here.

::I have never had a worse restaurant experience than the one I had at Lotus. Here is a list of things that went wrong: -While we were being seated, the table was dirty. The hostess did not seat us, and said she would be right back to wipe the table down. After a few minutes of waiting we saw her across the room talking to a coworker, so we just sat down. She never came back. -Our waiter did not come after another waiting several more minutes, so we had to seek one out. -One of us ordered a drink, which never came. We only got water. -After ordering our food, it took a ridiculously long time to come out, literally to the point where we were about to leave right when in finally did come out. In all this time our waiter never came to check on us so we couldn't ask where the drink was. The person who brought us our food was not our waiter. -One of the entrees was wrong! We didn't want to wait forever for what was actually ordered so we just went with it. -When we asked for refills on water, the waiter disappeared and did not come back. We did not get more water. -When we were finally able to ask for the checks, one of them had the drink we never got on it. It was not on the check of the person who ordered it. -When we asked for it to be taken off, it was instead moved to my check, but not until after my card was processed. I had get the payment reprocessed without the drink that no one got. I have never had a worse dining experience than this. It was the only time in my life I did not leave a tip. For the record I ordered the pho. It was okay.

::Food was great and the spot is nice. Service was a little slow however even when there were few people. Nice experience.

::I like it that they have their own parking space next to the restaurant. The decor inside is very nice. They have a very nice patio area. In the summertime you are able to smoke hookah in the patio. The food is very good there. The music is very good. The bathrooms are very clean. The owners are very nice.

::Pho is amazing here. Broth had perfect flavor , the shrimp is outstanding. Large, meaty, clean and flavorful. No sub par sea creatures here. The “small” bowl is a very generous serving.
