  Appreciate the comraderie​ with fellow attendants at The Loft. Wonderful literary class for sixteen-year-old granddaughter. The coffee shop has superb food and coffees too.

  in the past both my daughter and I have taken classes from them which were fun and helpful. The one star I am giving them comes from their lack of organization. I signed up for two summer camp writing classes which were miserably difficult as their website is not the best functioning. after two exchanges of money and refunds I finally got signed up for the class. I put the wrong dates down or received the wrong dates for the classes from the person spoke with on the phone. when I showed up with my daughter a week later the staff itself was very understanding and helpful, the manager of the loft was not. She basically said tough cookies. Even my daughter was surprised at how unsympathetic she was. For summer camps they send out no email confirmation stating you are signed up and this is what you need to bring. After missing the first day one would think they would send an email or call? this is not the first managerial problem I have had. I signed up for an online class with thru them and it took me emailing and contacting them to get my online username and password to the class. it's unfortunate as the classes themselves were fun, but the organization and website is a mess. Cost me a loss of 300.00 or so dollars. I am going to continue to speak with them and if things turn around I will update this and give a better rating.

  It used to be great to take creative writing classes at the loft, despite all the rich "ladies of a certain age" crowding the room. But now, the prices for classes are unaffordable. For shame, Loft. You've priced many real writers out of the market.
