  The backroom is a great place to dance. Nice door staff. $7-$10 parking in adjacent lot (which I don't mind paying since there's no cover on the nights I go). However, if that lot is full, ur kinda screwed.

  Went there for a "darkwave" night. It was anything but..... When you have been around the LA Industrial/goth/darkwave scene as a few of us, you tend to expect more. I started out at Perversion back in the prehistoric days and moved on from there. The "club" is tiny, I have been in apartments that are bigger, and is pretty run down. In the first half hour alone, I saw multiple groups of people walk in, only to turn around and walk right back out with pissed off looks on their faces. I get it, when my friend and I leave the club before 11:30, and we did not get there until after 10:00, that shows how disappointed we both were. I recently heard that one of my old stomping grounds Das Bunker has held an event or two there, and tried to provide an explanation on their FB page to try to soothe the nerves of those I see who attended and were aggro about it. Needless to say, The Lash will never cross my LA night again, nor will I recommend it to anyone looking to have a good time.

  Cool place. I don't really go to clubs, but I really had a good time. The people who run the place are chill. They had a 90s night, hip hop in the front, Bjork in the back. Decent price drinks and there is a happy hour.
