Pros : *Nice quality concept design, it gives a sense of neo-old style, definitely furnished with style. *Nice complimentaries includes a breakfast, athletic club entrance, wine hour, cookies, apples and coffee at the lobby. All inclusive in room price. *And The little chocolates and a kind message they left on the don't disturb signI put :) *Enough parking available free of charge. Cons: *Poor lighting in rooms, just a crampy window at the corner, little light coming in.

Had lunch in The Black Sheep, the restaurant in the hotel lobby. Everyone got either a salad or sandwich. The portion sizes we're all good for lunch, and the food quality was very good. The tables are fairly tightly packed together, so there's not a ton of elbow room. Service was attentive, checked in regularly and kept our drinks filled, but it took a bit longer than I would have expected to receive our food.

Best hotel experience of my life. Great helpful and friendly staff. Small hotel among giants but the quality exceeds all others. Antiques everywhere in this hotel even in the rooms, handmade quilts in the rooms, chocolates left for guests, iComfort mattresses, great breakfast provided, coffee and fruit in the lobby whenever you want it. Every room is different and I can't wait to stay in Boston again just to come back to this hotel.

This was my first stay here and I have to say that they exceeded my expectations. I had initially planned on staying at the Marriott since it was a bit closer to my training and was recommended by my boss but when I saw their nightly rates I knew I had to find another option and that's when I came upon the Kendall. My expectations weren't sky high and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable - way better than most hotels that I say at. They have everything in the rooms that you would want including a mini-fridge. The wifi was a bit strange because every room has its own access point. That's fine but it caused some weirdness with my MacBook because it would cause it to fire up "Airport Utility" every time I connected, just a minor annoyance but strange. What really blew me away was the breakfast buffet. I was expecting a regular "continental breakfast" with stale muffins, cereal, yogurt, etc. This was a full on buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, potato wedges, ham, cheese and much much more...probably the best "free" breakfast buffet I've ever experienced. So yeah, I would stay here again and I would definitely recommend The Kendall to anybody.

A quaint hotel with antique furniture in the rooms. There's a bit of interesting history behind the hotel building and it is one of America's historical hotels. You get excellent continental breakfast! Located centrally at the Kendall square, all MIT campus buildings are within walking distance. The MIT/Kendall red line station is right next to hotel providing easy access to most of Boston.
