  A very conveniently located hotel for many highlights of NYC. Good safe street for solo older female to be walking back from Met opera, MOMA, Times Square and theatres which were all relatively nearby. Lovely ambience, great reception staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Good value.

  Stayed at the jewel for a week. Loved all the amenities and the location was superb. The staff, especially Renee was so gracious. Asking us if we need anything! We thoroughly enjoyed the CQ club. What a great perk to staying at the jewel

  Love this place! Rooms are small, as to be expected in Manhattan, but they are laid out very well. Free filtered water with bottled in the hallway. It says it's "facing Rockefeller Center", but that's kind of misleading. Yes it faces Rockefeller Center, but you can't see the building from your room. There's a whole block of buildings between The Jewel and The Rock, with an open area in the middle of the block, allowing you to walk right from the hotel to Rock Center. The Jewel is located very conveniently such that it's about equal distance between Central Park and Times square. Not a difficult walk for anyone not physically disabled. Close by the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station and Broadway, too. The price is good, too, considering everything else. Plus, you get a voucher for a discount at a parking garage that's about 2 blocks away. I think it was $25/day. Not too shabby in Manhattan.

  The Jewel hotel is a hidden Gem but you have to know what you are going to. Most of the rooms are am all but they are modern and clean. This hotel offers free water which is great and for the location it is a great price. If you need parking they offer a deal with a close Parko g garage for $36 a night which is unheard of in NYC. This hotel is right across from Rockefeller Center. If you are traveling as a couple and you are looking for a great hotel with great location then this is your hotel!!

  Нормальный отель, немного дороговатый, но самый центр, полотенца меняют через раз, вокруг полно закусочных и ресторанов, средний ценник в ресторанах 60$ на одного человека, в забигалавках сенгвич или бургер 7$-9$, а остальное, как везде, вообщем не халява, лучше жить подальше от центра, там жрачка дешевле....))))
