  Great food and great beer. Service is spotty but the food is so good you'll forget. No kids menu either (VERY common for gaslamp). Definitely a spot to hit if you're craving meat!!

  Great burgers and an amazing rotating beer selection. This place has the largest selection of porters and stouts in SD that I've found and at great process for DT.

  It was good, although I was expecting much more based off of how much it was talked up. The food was good, however the menu seemed a bit small. With a name like Hopping Pig I was expecting more in terms of BBQ. Couldn't find any pulled pork on the menu. Their beer selection was pretty good. They do have happy hour specials on some of their beers but they discount isn't too great.

  I wish I was local so I could be a regular. I go everytime I am in town though. Pretty close to exactly what I want in a bar. The food is excellent. I had the pork belly today, it was great. They have a very good beer selection and a very good whiskey selection. The staff is friendly. Great 90's rock music while you eat.

  If I was a local, I think this would be my regular hangout. Cool atmosphere, looks like Chip and Joanna did it. Food's good, too. They serve your meal on this big fancy wooden cutting board. Whatever you order, add the garlic parmesan fries. One thing: the ketchup is house-made--tastes like tomato soup. Not necessarily a bad thing, just something to know.
