  I went by myself to buy 4 bags of mulch not thinking about how I was gonna lift the bags let alone get them in my car but the associates there were so helpful and even offered to put them in my car

  All the stuff you ever needed (plus lots that you don't) for your home. First time here and was focused on the Garden Center. This year's selection of flowers and potted plants is scaled down from last year when they had the parking lot full of stuff. Guess the new store next door complained and that curtailed the selection. However, what they do have looks pretty healthy.

  Am surprise how me a home owner have more knowledge of electrical items sold by HD than their own employees incharge of the electrical section.

  Shopping at the Hackensack Home Depot is never an enjoyable experience but my visit today was the deciding vote for me never to return. Since the associates never look at a customer much less ask them if they need help so, naturally, I located the items on my own. I took my purchases to a cashier where I was the second and last customer on the line. Jiovanna, the cashier, looks me up and down all the while chewing and snapping her gum like a cow, and whines about how she must be a beacon of light because "all" the customers go to her. The store was DEAD. There was no line of people. Just me and the woman in front of me that was completing her purchase. She made me feel like I was really imposing on her. Then Jiovanna has the balls to highlight her name on the receipt and tell me to take the survey. Seriously, Jiovanna? I am an associate at the Home Depot in Clifton. We NEVER treat our customers like this. We actively seek out customers to help them even if we are not in our own department. We smile and greet them. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Forget Hackensack. Come to Clifton Home Depot and feel like a human being instead of a burden the associate must endure.
