Always willing to answer my questions about items in the store I'm not familiar with. Always welcoming. Excellent customer service every time I visit.

This was one of my very favorite shops in Raleigh. I cherished this shop. It has been a spiritual safe space for me on numerous occasions. I have felt valued, appreciated, guided, and important during my visits. I was always impressed by how they could ignite such feelings in me so fluidly. This is the first negative review I have ever written. I visited today with 2 friends, one of whom was excited to learn about this store. We were giggling by the crystal displays. We were enjoying our visit. An employee raised his voice from across the store- "I'm gonna have to ask you ladies to keep it down." Everyone in the store looked at us. The other employee smirked at me. We left promptly. After I calmed down, I called to ask when the owner would be in. The same gentlemen who was rude to us gave me her email bc she doesn't keep regular hours and doesn't take calls when she's in. I asked if the email would go directly and solely to her or if other employees had access to it. Instead of answering, he asked what I needed to discuss with her. I told him I would like to find out if the way we were treated is acceptable to her or if she would also be disheartened to know a regular and new customer were treated in such a manner. I was polite and calm during this interaction. I was not argumentative or combative in any way. He hung up on me before I could finish that last sentence. I called back, hoping the call just got dropped. When he answered, he quickly said "Ma'am I told you how to reach the owner, we are very busy, please don't call back." He hung up again without giving me the chance to respond. I no longer need to know if the owner would approve of this behavior. It is irrelevant at this point. I will not be back, and I am genuinely sad about this experience. It is no longer a cozy space for me. I can understand wanting to maintain a certain ambiance for your establishment. I do not understand why giggling with my friends was unacceptable. Clearly we were enjoying our visit. We were not being rude to anyone. I don't think we bothered any other customers, but I do apologize if we did. We were not hooting and hollering. We were merely giggling amongst ourselves. Regardless, walking up to us and discreetly asking us to be quiet would have been a much kinder, more appropriate way to address our giggling. We would have happily obliged. Embarrassing us in front of other customers, yelling at us, and hanging up on me twice was unprofessional, rude, and pathetic. Again, I am heartbroken over this experience due to the wide selection and wonderful service I have enjoyed here over the years. I hope this was an isolated incident. I hope this is not how you regularly treat your customers.

This is the best store I have been in. I go to The Holy Rose whenever I get a chance to go. It is a very peaceful shop and I feel so happy every time I walk through the doors. It is the only shop my boyfriend wants to go to when I need to find more supplies for my studies. Mrs. Rose is so lovely and her staff are too. I am very shy and get anxious when I shop in small stores. I feel like that when I take my time looking around that I am a bother, but they never make me feel like that when I go. Thank you Holy Rose for everything!

I have visited this shop regularly over the past few months, and I've been quite impressed. From the customer service to the crystals and other spiritual items they sell, it's awesome! From the first time I entered the shop, I have felt comfortable asking questions and getting their advice on what would work best for me. The staff has always been friendly and respectful to me and to others when I've been in the shop. On occasion, I have heard them politely tell customers to step outside for a phone conversation, to keep the noise down, to not bring small children or pets into the shop. My goodness people, the rules are right there on the front door! I'm not sure I could keep my cool when people continue to break rules that are prominently and clearly posted, but I have never heard the staff be rude to anyone! No, they don't sugar-coat it, but why should they. They tell customers politely and clearly. I'm not sure what some customers expect! Yes, I guess I do know....they want rules to be broken for them! We've all met those kind of people, rules are for others; not them! Best shop around, and it's a true pleasure shopping there!

First of all the price for quality is outrageous compared to every crystal store I've ever been too. A lot of crystals are also mislabeled. Not to mention they employees always have some sort of rude attitude or are snippy. Tried to go here one time and they told me no strollers this time I left it home they then told me no one under 10. Which is understandable but I'm fully capable of paying for anything broken not as if my son could even walk let alone break anything as it is. All it all I'd never recommend this place to anyone. Your not getting what your paying for and there's tons of places with a more knowledgeable and friendly staff who understand that youth have the strongest vibrations. In response to the shop... I actually have been a customer. Last time when the person told us we could not bring a stroller in, my girlfriend waited with our son outside while I checked it out and I purchased a stone. I immediately lost it when I left. It along with everything else in the store was over priced. Also, many gems we're mislabeled. After reading the rest of the reviews it obvious that we are not the only people who feel this way. We respect your rules but the way the staff speaks so rudely to potential customers speaks volumes. I'm surprised this store has been open for 3 years with customer service like that.
