  Great service! Had the pleasure of Rafael doing my hair and he is amazing! Will definitely be going there in the future!

  I just moved to the area and was looking for a salon to start going to and I am so happy that I found this salon. I got full bayalage and a hair cut. Rafael did an incredible job! I am super particular with my hair and have had such a hard time finding a hair stylist that understands what I want. I highly recommend. He is phenomenal!

  Raphael at the Heights Salon makes my hair look more lovely than it ever has before. I can't believe it is my hair! He is the master of long layers and dealing with texture. The staff at the Heights is friendly and professional. The salon is in an older building with great character too. I love this salon and I love Raphael. Highly recommended.

  Loved loved loved visiting this salon! The staff is super friendly and professional,( I wish I could remember my stylist's name 🙈 ) it was a really pleasant experience. I got a Groupon for a keratin which went great! Im due for another, bummed I can't get an additional Groupon for it.

  EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I came in for a fresh look and walked out in tears. ...You know its bad when the stylist starts offering you free touch ups and cut corrections as she's walking you to the door. "When it grows out, come back and my boss & I will fix it for free" The Story: My stylist was VERY inexperienced even though she says she has been in the salon industry for 6 years. Right off the bat she told me she is left-handed and forgot her scissors at home so she was going to use right handed scissors. I told her I wanted a PARTIAL balayage and was surprised when she started applying color to the back underside of my hair. She didn't bring the color up high enough on my head so you can see where she stopped painting. In other places, she smeared the dye into the areas near my part. For the cut I asked for long shaggy bangs. She took scissors right across my forehead and chopped off the hair starting above my eye brows. I look ridiculous. I can't wear the bangs down near my face. They are lopsided and too short. I have to use bobby pins to pull them back and tuck them in. The manager was supposed to be watching and directing her as she worked on my hair, but he barely paid any attention. I called the salon to ask for a refund and was denied. I WAS TOLD I WAS NOT GUARANTEED SATISFACTION BECAUSE I HAD A JUNIOR STYLIST. I tired to speak to the manager and he has yet to return my calls. Instead, the stylist herself has been calling, texting and leaving me voicemails trying to argue that she did a good job. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT? She offered to pay me back for the service so that I wouldn't get the salon and her boss involved... extremely unprofessional. It's safe to say I will not be returning to Heights Salon of Brooklyn anytime soon.
