  Stayed here with my son several years ago and loved it! Great jazz nearby at Paris Moon etc plus lobster. Casual & friendliest place to stay and we enjoyed locals. Rooms are large and clean as well as social & musical. Not at all the cold distance of NYorkers but easy walk distance to all! Like Brooklyn has its unique community style, so too Harlem ! Hope to stay again when next in NY xx

  A beautiful home - wonderful historic preservation, with charming and unelected details throughout. How often do you get to wander through an old brownstone that hasn't been cut up into apartments? It's delightful.

  A beautiful house that's clearly been lovingly restored to a former glory. It's in a good spot close to local restaurants and bars plus the underground. Good shower too. Unfortunately I found the bed uncomfortable but that could just have been the bed I had...or just my personal opinion. It's a good value place to stay though.

  I loved the house and Rene but most of all pheobe!! Great place and with the bombcylone Rene took great care of us. If I come back to NY I will definitely be staying with Rene again!! His pictures doesn't do his place justice.

  Charming guesthouse with large rooms, quiet sleeps. Good value. Near some sweet spots to eat and go out. Transit good to other areas.
