::I had an excellent experience at the Hairy Lobster for my birthday. My wife surprised by taking me to this cozy restaurant in the pearl district. The inside has a really cool vibe and the outside seating is right across the park, so it's ideal for a clear skies(no rain). The lavender butter with rolls were excellent, the taste of the lavender was present but not dominant. The empanadas were crunchy and packed with flavor, along with the fresh guacamole. We also tried the pulled pork and halibut, both were equally delicious. Finally we had a publano pepper trout over a coleslaw which was nothing short of fantastic. They gave me a cupcake for my birthday and just really made my day. So if your looking for a great place to relax and enjoy a good meal with reasonable prices and causual dining the Hairy Lobster is for you.

::Had a really nice revisit to the resturant after about a year. Enjoyed the updated menu as well the crafty cocktails and eye catching dessert(tasted good too!)

::The best food and the best staff! We had a large group so we were able to sample a large selection of the share plates which make up the menu. Beverages are a bit pricey, but I think it's normal for a place like this.

::The mushroom bisque was amazing! I think I could of been happy eating bowls of the soup. But, the rest of the dinner was just as delicious. Very clean and comfortable, our waiter was amazing especially since we came in with four 8th graders and the chef came out to visit with the teens! A great experience for the kids. The only reason giving 4 stars is because the bus boy was unbelievable rude, otherwise a great experience!
