THANK YOU, ERICA. went into the store yesterday to buy a pair of shoes. Found 2 pair I was ready to buy. Walked around store for almost 20 minutes. Was never approached by a salesperson at all. One was chatting with customers about growing up on Mississippi Gulf Coast, and, the other salesperson didn't emerge from back room until at least 10 minutes after I was there. She immediately walked behind the counter. At that point, a couple popped in, obviously friends, and both sales people went over to chat with them. Not once did they make an effort to acknowledge my presence or see if I needed help. Walked put dissatisfied and pretty irked. Not long after this incident, met a couple next door, who had a similar experience. Tourists, she wanted a comfortable pair of shoes, had a pair picked out in her hand, but the same pregnant salesperson was not even on the sales floor when they went into store for at least 5 minutes. After emerging from the back room, she went to the counter, got on her phone, and started talking to her friend about her pregnancy. I'd say you lost at least $300 to $400 in sales within an hour yesterday, due to the incompetentcy of your personnel. In reading your reviews here, I see they are all at least a year old. Makes you wonder. I would have sent this as an email, but could not find an address. One star is too many.
