A great place! Expensive but worth it! Service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the portions were very generous! They had a well-conceived menu; something for all tastes, adventurous or otherwise. Nice wine list, too, with good values as well as splurges. Highly recommended!

The food is amazing! It's a bit pricey, but the service is very attentive. This is a fantastic, cozy place to go for special occasions. They have a great wine selection but only a few craft beer choices. If you have not been here, do yourself a favor and check it out. I believe reservations are required. Bon appetit!

My husband and I went this past Saturday and had a great overall experience! The service was probably the best that we have had at any high end restaurant in Charlotte. The server was polite, attentive, and had a good personality, but didn't linger too long or try to dazzle us with his conversation skills and knowledge. We started with the chorizo-stuff calamari. I'm really particular about calamari, and I didn't love this part of the dish, but overall, it was a fun take on a simple appetizer. I also had the cauliflower soup - very creamy and tasty (especially with their artisan bread). Here's where our meals diverged. My husband went off the beaten path and ordered the elk. I don't think we are big elk people, because despite the guy next to us saying it was excellent, neither of us were big fans. I had scallops and thought they were phenomenal (but the bed of couscous was bland and needed salt). We shared peanut butter chocolate mousse for dessert and left with our bellies full and happy. Definitely check the menu before you go. If it has items that look good and are on your "must eat" list, you'll probably like it, but it's a little pricey to try something completely random and expect to love it. Either way...highly recommend!

A great place to take a date or group of friends. The food is delicious and unique, and the service is upscale, but the vibe is very comfortable. Light music is playing in the background and everyone is enjoying themselves and having a great time. Truly something special and will be a place that will make your dinner a memorable one.

Always one of my favorites in all of Charlotte. Wine selection doesn't disappoint. Chef's dishes are well prepared and presented. Service is exacting. Quaint location with great ambiance. Seeing sunset over the city in the Warmer months or enjoying the fireplace in winter add to the truly special feel. On this particular occasion, in addition to apparent teamwork all around, my server Michael and the host Alex helped execute a great birthday experience. Chef's 5 course tasting menu certainly did not disappoint. As always, I'm looking forward to my next visit.
