  First of all, I never write reviews and never have problems with hotels, but this hotel really rubbed me the wrong way. here is what went wrong at our stay, which unfortunately we have 2 more nights here so more could go wrong in the next 48 hours. - We checked in got our keys and guess what? We walked into a room of sleeping people. Told the receptionist and she had "no idea how that happened." - Then she promised that we'd have our king bedroom that I originally booked us in. Nope! they didn't have any available anymore. - Oh and if you want to check in early, they'll charge you $85 even if they have the room available. - Then the first night came. Our neighbors were smoking weed (I ordered a non smoking room for a reason!) and yelling at midnight. I told the receptionist and she said that she'd have a manager look into it. Long story short, I called the receptionist 3 times and they never did anything about it. So poorly managed! I'll write more if more things go wrong... Honestly, you are better off staying at another hotel.

  A great place to buy fresh, local, and organic groceries and foods that was a pleasant surprise when we saw it on our way to the subway station. The rooms are very nice (among one of the nicer ones I’ve stayed in for the price). One gripe is that the water pressure in our shower wasn’t very high. However I noticed all of the places I’ve visited have low water pressure so I assume it’s normal for D.C. I live in FL and therefore am used to high water pressure being only feet away from water under my feet so I will not take any stars away for that. Don’t hesitate to book: staff was friendly and accommodating and the rooms were always cleaned nicely.

  The hotel is located very near the DuPont Circle metro station (both entrances to the station) and also directly next to the DuPont Circle market that comes up. A great place to buy fresh, local, and organic groceries and foods that was a pleasant surprise when we saw it on our way to the subway station.
