This is a very interesting place. I couldn't help but wonder how safe it is, but I'm an adventurer and it seems well maintained

The inclines in Pittsburgh are pretty unique. I think it's awesome that they have kept these things going. It was pretty fun to ride, and the staff was really nice

Very beautiful and historic place. The incline has been running since the 1800's. Its been a must see location in Pittsburgh for many years. My son and I went for our 1st but not last visit. The views of the city are spectacular. Many different ways to get great photos. On the cable car and at the top on the observation deck. At the top there are lots of exhibits that outline some of the history of the incline and cars. It also depicts interesting history of Pittsburgh. It is so cheap that a family could afford this fun and educational excursion. Ill definately be back with more of my family. Take cash and exact change. A round trip for 2 adults is $10. They are friendly and nice enough to let you go ahead and ride. You can get change at the top. Either from the gift shop or an ATM.

Fun little ride to the top. Beautiful historic architecture inside the "train". Perfect view of Pittsburgh from the top. Interesting historical information inside the station. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Was hoping for more of a town/ things to do at the top but it was a great experience and view for $5 (plus parking). Must see/do in Pittsburgh!

Would have been beautiful if we could have been on the observation deck, but it was closed. We only found that out once we bought our round trip ticket and made it to the top. We should have been informed that the best picture taking spot was closed before we made a purchase. Either poor communication on the opporators part or they just didn’t care enough to inform us. Just don’t go if the observation deck is likely to be slippy and closed.
