  Wonderful hotel and perfectly located in Downtown. We have really enjoyed our stay and the staff is wonderful. I will be back next time I have to come to Austin! We stayed in the executive suite after being offered an upgrade from the Landmark for only $25. Beautiful room. A/C was weak in the living room but the room was better. I would recommend this hotel!

  Had drinks and food at the bar/lounge. Interesting cocktails and food. Attentive wait staff. A bit on the expensive side, but a fun experience. Highly recommended place to relax in Austin.

  We didn't stay at the hotel just stopped in to eat at the over priced diner. We did however walk around the hotel and it is beautiful. They have no spa or pool I did ask the front desk. It is an expensive place and you can't go outside without being harassed by hundreds of homeless people. That is annoying and at some points it gets down right scary when they start following you and yelling at you. I wouldn't stay here due to the location it is not a safe area unfortunately it's the tourist area. We walked the street for about an hour got harassed by no less than 30 homeless people and we saw zero police anywhere in site. Nope.

  We had a few drinks at the lobby bar. Prices were very reasonable, great location and the bar was gorgeous. It can be a bit of a wait, but not too bad. We had a table in about 10 minutes. They also have live music which is very nice. Would recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

  If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... What a treat. First time in Austin and stayed at the beautiful Driskill Hotel. Aside from the beauty of the hotel, the customer service was everything you would expect from a Hyatt property. Naturally, my colleague mentioned the hotel was rumored to be haunted as we arrived and although I was nervous about a ghost sitting in the corner of my room in the middle of the night, I’m happy to report that was not the case. Additional, the bar was fun with nice food options. My room was on the ‘new’ side and extremely spacious. High ceilings and tons of light fixtures. Great location for shared rides. Overall, amazing experience.
