  I usually don’t write reviews but I really wanted to share my wonderful and exciting experience being a patient in a clinic that had such empathetic and caring doctors and staff because I honestly believe that anyone at any age who is seeking to start their own ortho journey or is trying to find one of the best clinics in the Daly City area for their children deserves to get the best ortho care possible because a beautiful smile will last a lifetime and can positively impact many aspects of your life such as in one’s career, relationships, and self esteem. I understand the importance of choosing the best ortho clinic for you or your children as one has to feel comfortable and confident going to the same place every month or so for many years knowing one is receiving the best treatment unique to them. I can also understand the anxiety and stress parents and individuals may have in choosing an ortho clinic. I hope my experience of when I received care from Dr. Chen, the assistants, and the front desk staff can give you a better insight on why I highly recommend any individual or parents to choose to go to the Daly orthodontist for their ortho treatment. I’m a dental assistant at a pediatric clinic and I can confidently say that the quality of care that I received was very similar to the quality of care we give to our patients in my pediatric clinic. I was first recommended to the Daly orthodontist by my coworkers because they and their children were receiving treatment from Dr. Chen. I hopped onto that train as I trusted my coworkers' opinions and was curious as to why everyone went to Dr. Chen. I soon found out why all my coworkers and their children chose to get their ortho treatment from Dr. Chen and rave about their office. In my first appointment, I received such a warm welcome from Dr. Chen, the front desk staff and the dental assistants. Dr. Chen was also very detailed and informative of my treatment in simple terms that was easy to understand, answered all my technical questions truthfully, gave me a realistic time frame of when I should be done with my braces and was receptive to any ideas I had about how my teeth should look. He is also very chill and easy to talk to and still be professional when he needs to be. The assistants were also more than friendly and accommodating to your needs from assisting you in the chair and adjusting anything in your mouth that doesn’t feel comfortable to giving you extra floss threads and rubber bands. I think the best part is that the whole experience felt very personal as Dr. Chen and many of the front desk and assistants do remember me from previous visits. Dr. Chen and the staff really do their best in making sure you have everything you need to get to your end goal and making your ortho experience as easy and comfortable as possible! Even after I was finished with braces and am currently wearing my retainers, Dr. Chen was very open to helping me make any adjustments to my teeth if I saw anything I didn’t like. Overall, I had a wonderful experience working with Dr. Chen, the dental assistants, and the front desk staff as you will definitely be taken care of even after you finish your ortho treatment!

  Dr Chen has been nothing but a pleasure to know the past many years, since I got Invisalign done with him. My son still visits this office for dental checkups, so even though it’s been a few years since my Invisalign was finished, I still see Dr Chen in passing from time to time. In my most recent visit, he handed me a new self-cleaning apparatus for my Invisalign retainers, because he started giving them out to current patients. That is truly going “above and beyond!” Dr Chen also seems to be updating his services and equipment to the best technology, most advanced service available all the time, which is impressive.

  Dr. Chen and his team have been professional, kind, and helpful! From the day of my first consultation, to receiving braces, to all the appointments in-between and to now, finally my braces off with the retainer— I have received nothing but excellent service! Their genuine desire to be of service and change lives one smile at a time is truly shown in their attitude and especially in Dr. Chen’s character.   Dr. James Chen is an outstanding orthodontist. I've been under his care for over a year now, and every single visit was accompanied by the utmost professionalism and kindness. Progress in straightening my teeth has been good, and I know I can trust him to do what's best for my teeth and my comfort. His staff members are all friendly, and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. If you're thinking of getting braces, I highly recommend The Daly Orthodontist!
