  Excellent location for walking to French Quarter and Frenchmen Street. Mike was great help recommending places to eat and drink around the area. Nice courtyard to sit around and relax in. The inside was a bit dated and needs new area rugs, Cable TV was great with plenty of channels, WIFI was a little spotty at times. The king bed was good for sleeping. Overall a good experience with the Courtyards

  This location was so convienent to everything. We were able to walk everywhere. So close to great music and food on Frenchmen. We had a blast! George and Michael were so incredibly helpful. LOVED drinking my morning coffee and my evening wine in the beautifully maintained courtyard. Loved the historic feeling of the old slave house converted to condos.

  While there is some old New Orleans charm to this place, there are plenty of drawbacks. First of all, it's not in a great neighborhood. It's just outside of the French Quarter, about a block from Frenchman Street. We went to a bar on Frenchman Street and the bouncer told us to make sure to take a cab back to our hotel because the streets were dangerous. He was shocked that we were staying a block away. That was our second night and we got new digs after that. The girl at the desk at our second hotel gave us a map and circled the neighborhood where the Courtyard Guest house is and told us to stay away from that area. We just laughed. Here are some of my complaints: 1. There is no cable tv or any kind of tv whatsoever. The owner told us there might be glitches but really, that was a lie. No one had cable. There are only 6 units and we're social people. We asked everyone about their tv situation. The tv in the bedroom looks like it hasn't been used in years. 2. While the bedding was clean, there was a blood stain on my bed. I know the sheets were clean because I got on my hands and knees and sniffed those sheets all over before I would sleep in that bed. 3. The walls and ceilings were dirty, the air vents were especially dirty, the towels were old and one of them had brown spots all over it. The bathroom was old and outdated, with 2 tissue boxes, each containing one tissue. 4. While it sleeps 4, there were only 3 chairs at the dining table. The kitchen seemed ok. We didn't use it. 5. You can only check in on a Friday between 2 and 6. With a little bit of updating and maintenance, this wouldn't be a bad place. We rented it through RCI even though we own at another timeshare company. It was our first time at an RCI place and it will be our last. Most of the guests were surprised that RCI even associates with this place.

  Great A/C, decent space...right in the thick of things.
