  CHCS is an excellent program to help those in need of mental healthcare who are low income. They also help with housing and medication. And the staff always treats everyone with respect. I've also been to their Crisis Center, and they were compassionate and caring too.

  Horrible place to go and seek help. Can NEVER get thru to make a appointment. Now the Doctor I had is no longer there and unable to get my refills. Side effects without my medications is horrible. I am now going to see if my primary doctor can help! Smh!

  The clinic has not maintained accurate records for my visits there. They also rarely ever answer the phone and it is often necessary to go there in person to conduct any business. I also scheduled an appointment to see the nurse practitioner and the office cancelled it and moved it to another day. They still have incomplete records of visits and have not taken steps to correct it in the computer nor in hardcopy even if they acknowledge that a mistake was made. They will not admit to a mistake in writing by correcting past errors because then they have to finally have evidence in my file that they dropped the ball.

  Awesome intake went in feeling not so good emotionally and mentally after talking to the assesor felt so much lighter. Highly recommend this location.

  i went to this location for about two years, they never pick up the phone, so if you need to cancel an appointment you have to go in for a walk-in because they will not call you back to reschedule. this location is kinda gross as well, the bathroom always smells like pee no matter how early you get there. the nurses and staff are very nice. my original psychiatrist was very kind and listened to my needs but then they switched me to another one who gave me a medication i told him gave me heart palpitations. it messed up my heart beat for about 8 months now, im just now recovering. they did however force me into consenting to a case worker, and the one they assigned me to didnt really do her job. my second one was very sweet and bent over backwards for the short amount of time i worked with her. overall the staff is very nice but they dont pick up the phone, and as someone who had to commute from the north east side its not a very convenient location especially since i had to leave the house at 5:30 am to make it there at 7:30 when they open because i couldnt reschedule my appointment.
