  I had an incredible experience staying in a lake view room at The Buckingham Hotel in Chicago! The stunning views of the city and Lake Michigan from these rooms are truly mesmerizing, especially during sunrise and sunset. The luxurious feel of The Buckingham Hotel is apparent from the moment we step through the doors. The lobby is elegant and sophisticated, with plush furnishings and stylish decor. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with high-quality linens, modern furnishings, and all the amenities which needed for a comfortable stay. Also, this is located in a prime location in the heart of downtown, making it easily accessible to many of the city's top attractions. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

  Awesome experience, nothing state of the art but the room was very nice with an absolutely beautiful view, service was friendly and accommodating.

  My teen and I found the experience to be rather enjoyable, riding the elevator with executives on our way up to our comfortable privileged hideaway, despite the strange location for a hotel (top of an office tower) and the initial difficulty in finding it. Incredible city views can be enjoyed day and night by sinking into a plush chair next to the window. Excellent snacks and drinks are available in a very quiet room for a price, if desired. Very comfortable bed, close to everything you could possibly need (LaSalle/VanBuren Orange Line stop right outside). employees who are friendly and helpful.

  Breathtaking city views! Toilet was wobbly and the sheets were a bit scratchy. Overall the room was still great. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend to anyone. Within walking distance of lots a cool places and restaurants. Beware of your surroundings when coming or going on foot late at night as nearby alleyways harbor dangerous criminals. Hotel was very secure and elevator requires key card access. Nearby prison was fun to observe from above. Watch out for rats!

  Stayed here for 3 nights. The gentleman who checked us in didn't seem friendly. And he asked if we require the rooms to be cleaned every day. We told them just once on the second night which never happened. The carpet in the room was filthy. Seemed as if it wasn't vacuumed for ages. I realized when I got into the shower as my feet left black marks due to the dirt from the carpet. They have advertised a pool but it is closed on the weekends and they do not allow any kids under 18 to use the pool even with parental supervision. The breakfast was ok. The view of the lake was great from the room. I wouldn't recommend this place for families. And they surely need to pay more attention to cleaning and the hotel seems to need a facelift. It was a bit confusing to come to the hotel as you need to take 2 sets of elevators. The security in the building was extremely nice. Can't say the same about the hotel staff though. We were disappointed and will not stay here again.
