Went by at 6:50. Apparently they're closed... odd time to close. Look them up online their hours are open until 8pm. Rude and apparently run by children who can close wherever they'd like.

I waited for an hour outside the shop for it to open and when it finally did, they said they were out of tapioca pearls! That's the only point of getting bubble tea and for them to be open but not have any boba just doesn't make any sense. I've had this happen four times before, and didn't get anything after waiting for a very long time. Not worth it.

Best bubble tea in Seattle? No. Wow Bubble Tea in University District takes that title. Convenient bubble tea if you're playing tourist? Yes. The Bubble Tea Shop is just a stone's throw from the Space Needle, Museum of Pop Culture, Pacific Science Center, and the other tourist destinations nearby. It's a little shop inside a larger dining area. Their main attraction, of course, is the bubble tea, but you can also get macaroons and Japanese snacks like Pocky or chocolate filled panda bear cookies. If you stick with what they are known for, their bubble tea is decent. They have a variety of flavors, but I always stay with the standard milk tea bubble tea. They do have two non-tea options (taro is one of them) if you don't drink caffeine.

Best macaroon I have ever tasted. Melts in your mouth. People so friendly. Thank you.

The customer service was nice. Workers were helpful and sweet. But bubble tea was not what I had expected. Instead of a thick, frothy drink with soft, chewy tapioca. I got a horribly blended and over sweetened juice drink with hard tapioca. Would not recommend to anyone. Two stars for the good service.
