I was invited to a 60th Wedding Anniversary, the Staff there one in particular was kind & offered this Down Southern sweet tea that was so dang good I should’ve asked for the recipe. No but really they were cool & efficient on cleaning up the table so we could enjoy the entertainment from the Anniversary couple & family. Thanks Boat House Special Event Staff!!!

Our ceremony at The Boathouse was beautiful. Our only downfall was the communication was lacking during the planning process. Our initial coordinator left the company, so we went several weeks with no contact person. We were eventually reassigned, but our new contact person was significantly less attentive than our first person. The company also wrote on the calendar that our rehearsal began 30 minutes later than what our contract stated. The coordinator was meeting with other clients, so we were forced to wait the 30 minutes to begin. We originally requested to have the bar closed during our ceremony, but it was opened as a cash bar (although it’s not what we planned, this ended up being a wonderful surprise as it was 95 degrees out and our guests really needed something to drink!) Once things started though, the rehearsal and ceremony ran beautifully. Overall, I would recommend this venue, but encourage you to just remember they got things covered and it will be beautiful and perfect (even if you aren’t sure what’s happening during some of the planning phase)

Going there for 614 Restaurant Week and I am very pleased with the overall experience and ESPECIALLY the food. Oh dear goodness, the food was delicious - not one of us [of 4] had a negative thing to say about our dishes! Our primary server seemed very stressed [and with not that many people in the restaurant....maybe she was fresh out of orientation? I mean, who hasnt been in those shoes before?!?!] but our food was served hot and the manager, William, was attentive and engaging. I love it when people are proud of the foodx history of their restaurant, and are willing to share information! He told us about the history of the damning of the river and how now, there's a significant variety of wildlife because the dams were taken down along with the origins of the restaurant itself. All very satisfying and not just hype...while there, we saw a heron and a bald eagle!!! I have zero doubt we would have seen more if we hadn't been engrossed in conversation ;-) Overall, this will be one of my go-to recommendations for people who want QUALITY food and a great environment!

Went to a association meeting and the atmosphere and service was excellent. The staff was harmonious in their delivery of lunch and made sure plates were taken promptly. One small critique just to be picky would be that there was one set of sconces on the wall that were not lit up and a few of the chairs at our table were inches smaller than the rest. Everything was prepared and tasted great!

I made reservations although I don't think we needed them. The restaurant wasn't crowded being a Wednesday. It worked out well though. Our server was very attentive as well as knowledgeable about the menu. The food was excellent. The Gouda Mac n cheese was fantastic. The server was great. It was definitely a positive dining experience and I will probably return. Oh, the few of the rivers is definitely worth it.
